In Spring 2014 Logsdon Seminary opened its newest campus, located in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. The new extension provides the only fully accredited seminary education in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area offered by an institution affiliated with Texas Baptists. Logsdon Seminary’s degrees are accredited by SACS and by ATS, the premiere regional and national accrediting agencies for seminary education.
Logsdon’s DFW extension is located at Valley Ranch Baptist Church in Coppell. The church’s facility is just off of the George Bush Tollway, located at 1501 E. Beltline Road. Freeways make the extension easily accessible to anyone in the Metroplex area.
Students at the DFW campus may earn up to two-thirds of the Master of Divinity or the Master of Arts in Family Ministry degrees, or they may earn the complete Master of Arts (Religion) degree at the extension. DFW students pursuing an MDiv or MA in Family Ministry take one-third of their degree in residency at Logsdon’s main campus in Abilene or at the full-degree campus in Corpus Christi. To facilitate this residency coursework for DFW students who commute, some classes in Abilene and Corpus Christi are scheduled to meet for only one-week of a term or on selected weekends.
Dr. Royce Rose is the director of the DFW extension. Feel free to contact him for more information about the DFW program at 214-213-5450 or
