Beginning Spring 2014, Logsdon Seminary will begin offering coursework in the DFW Metroplex.
Logsdon’s DFW extension will provide the only fully accredited seminary education in the DFW Metroplex offered by an institution affiliated with Texas Baptists. Logsdon Seminary’s degrees are accredited by SACS and by ATS, the premiere regional and national accrediting agencies for seminary education.*
Courses toward seminary degrees will be offered at Valley Ranch Baptist Church in Coppell, where students may earn up to two-thirds of the Master of Divinity and the Master of Arts in Family Ministry degrees.
While two-thirds of Logsdon’s Master of Divinity or Master of Arts in Family Ministry may be earned at the DFW extension, the remaining one-third of each degree will be earned in residency at the main campus in Abilene. To facilitate residency coursework for DFW students who commute to Abilene, some classes at the main campus are scheduled to meet for only one-week of a term or on selected weekends.
In addition to Logsdon’s main campus in Abilene and this new DFW extension, the seminary also has accredited extension sites in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, McAllen, and Lubbock. Residency coursework may also be taken at the Corpus Christi extension, as well as the Abilene campus.
Logsdon Seminary courses at Valley Ranch Baptist Church will begin in the Spring of 2014.
In order to enroll in courses, students must have completed a bachelor’s degree and have been admitted to the seminary. If you would like to schedule a campus visit in DFW, contact Dr. Royce Rose, Director of Logsdon Seminary Programs in DFW at
